When I was a young man I played with Steve Clark in the Igors Jazz Cowboys band. Some of my fondest memories are from some of the gigs we played. He was the best drummer I ever heard. I hope he is in Heaven trading solos with Buddy Rich again!

I am so sorry for your loss, I knew Steve from Northglenn when he would come over to our house on Fowler Drive and spend time with my Brother Jim Thrush and they played in N.G.H.S. Jazz Band together '72-73, Later I looked him up in Los Angeles when I moved out there for music business as well and we spent a few hours visiting...Steve was a N.G.H.S. legend, trading solos with the great Louis Bellson at the High School gym. Steve set the standard for other Drummers from that H.S. extremely high, many of us Musicians still talk about that to this day. Again My condolences to family.
