Susan R. Fox

Susan R. (Sue) Fox, 69, passed away on the evening of April 29, 2016, after a year-long courageous battle against cancer. Survived by her loving husband Bob Martin, children Amy and Brian Fox, Michelle Cownie (Paul) and Daniel Martin (Mia), and six grandchildren, Paige and Sam Distefano, Amelia and Lily Martin, and Tyler and Ryan Cownie. She earned a J.D. at the University of Denver Law School in 1974. She worked for a number of law firms and as Regional Counsel for Coldwell Banker Commercial. Throughout her career, Sue was an active member of the Board of Governors of the Colorado Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the Colorado Women's Bar Association. Sue was very active in Rotary International served as President of the Denver Rotary in 2008. Sue enjoyed her family and her many friends. She was a volunteer with the Denver Botanic Gardens, and active member of Augustana Lutheran Church and participated in a many other community service projects. Services are scheduled for Friday, May 6, 2016, at 1:30pm at Augustana Lutheran Church, 5000 E. Alameda Ave., Denver CO. A reception will follow at 3:00pm at the Wellshire Inn, at 3333 S.
