Susan Jean Peper-Jones

Susan Jean Peper- Jones died on April 2, 2009, after a long illness. Sue was born November 3, 1952 in Provo, Utah, to Anne and Robert Peper. Sue graduated from the University of Utah in recreational therapy and psychology, then from San Jose State with a master's in psychology. She was a beacon of joy to everyone privileged enough to know her. Everything Sue did - at work, in the community, and at home - was to leave this place better than she found it. From practicing equine-assisted therapy to improve the mental health of her clients, to fighting to preserve wild spaces and protecting the homes of wild animals, to loving each of her friends and family to the fullest, Sue was modern day St. Francis of Asissi - loving all things wild (animals, places and people) and faithfully brightening each person's life she touched. Sue is survived by her husband, Mark, stepson, Dustin (Carey), mother, Anne Peper, sisters, Sally (Brent) Davies, and Annie (Mike) Dosier, and brother, Chris Peper. Sue is also survived by many close, extended family members and loving friends, and don't forget her dogs and horses. A memorial service will be held April 16th at 1:30 p.m. at the Parker Funeral Home, 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker, CO. Friends can meet the family after the service in the family room of the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Sue Peper Memorial Fund at any Key Bank.
