HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD !! You'll be happy to know that we "whipped up a batch of hot sauce" this last weekend. Your special recipe lives on...how I wish you were here to share it with us. I pray that the Easter season message stays strong in our hearts throughout the year. The renewed faith and promise of everlasting life strengthens and comforts our aching hearts in our loss. We miss you always but believe that you are now enjoying the beauty of God's Heavenly home. Love you....Denise

Tom, another year has passed and still not a day goes by that I don't think about you - and, yes even talk to you. You know alot has changed in my life, and I wish you could be here to experience some of God's country that I'm becoming closer to, the spirit of histroy of years gone by. Everyone and everything leaves their spirit in histroy for others to reflect. That is what you have done for me! I love and miss you.

Valentine's Day now comes with a bitter sweetness. Sweet in that we celebrate the love we have for those that are close to us - something we all need and cherish. Bitter in that we acknowledge the anniversary of your death & just how much we miss you. Sweet in that it reminds us to stop, reflect, and value all the love you had for us & all the love we still have for you. We think about you and miss you everyday. We enjoy most everyday one of your favorite "sayings". I wish you were here to teach the kids to ski, to fish with them, and to watch them grow. I pray you are watching from Heaven. Love you always. February 18, 2002 Thomas Alan McCauley, my little brother made his transition to heaven.

I know that he is at peace. As I remember him, he brought sunshine and brightness into my life and many days of laughter.

God put Tommy on this earth to love everything that he touched and created. Even though the last few years of his life were suffering he could still experience not only for himself but make me and everyone around him happy and joyful.

Tommy blessed each day and I feel that he actually looked forward to the divine and the secret path of the divine heaven or wherever.

I know that we all miss him very much here on earth but we should actually be celebrating his time and his contribution to Life. I know that he is at peace. Tommy we love you and we will see you soon!!!!

I love all of you and scriptures say "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly"!!!!

Lets all make a toast today to my little brother,(he would love that)!!!!!!!!!

this E-Mail goes to you Tom!

With all my Love Your big Sister Joyce

This is an essay I wrote for school Papa. I was thinking of you when I wrote it but that is nothing new. I think of you often because I miss you. But I know you are happy. I promise to stay drug free to my parents, to myself, to my Grandma, to my Grandpa, Officer Nop, and last I promise to my friends. I promise to my parents because they love me and would be disappointed to see me hurt the body God gave me. I promise to myself because God has given me the gift of life and I should respect that gift. I promise to my Grandma because she also loves me and is always there for me. I want to promise this to my Grandpa in his memory because I loved him and know that he loved me. I promise this to Officer Nop because he taught me so much and made me more confident to say no to drugs. I promise this to my friends because they are always there to help me. I know if I turned to drugs they wouldn’t want hang out with me or even be my friend, and that is not a risk I want to take.

I can keep this promise by saving my money for college and not spending it on drugs. Another way to keep this promise is to pick good friends not friends who use drugs. I could also keep this promise by making good decisions and always talking to my parents because I know they are always willing to listen and help me.

I need to keep this promise because I know that something so stupid and wrong like drugs can hurt me so badly. So I will take a stand, I won’t do drugs. I won’t do drugs because if I do I will not have a chance for a good education, career or a good family. So I promise I won’t do drugs ever.

It was my 5th birthday 4/10/47, Mom had gone to the hospital to get my new little brother Thomas A. McCauley (born 4/12/47), I thought he was my birthday present. For 53 years we always celebrated our birthdays together. Tom your life was so meaningful to everyone you came in touch with. Your pleasant and positive belief in living and producting love in not only my family and yours but in everyone. We enjoyed growing-up together and sharing so much. I am so sorry that you had to suffer with illness the last few years of your life, but even then you were still good natured, positive and always wanted to sing, dance, travel and practice your spiritual beliefs (God). You and Genny together have been a very special union, your getting married a such a young age, raising 3 beautiful daughters loving them and keeping them always in your first thoughts and continuing your love and protection of all your grandchildren, You should be very proud and know that you accomplished and were very successful in adding to our life here on earth. I planted a rose bush, because it was your favorite flower and you were always telling me how to take care of it, I will watch it grow! As my love for you my little brother will continue to grow. I will continue to celebrate our birthdays as we did for so many years. I could go on and on because of the years we shared our lives even though we lived in different states at times, my heart was always with you and I know that I not only speak for myself but for Sharon and Shelley too. I already miss you so very much, just to hear that little giggle that you have. Tommy, I love you and We will all celebrate your life here on earth until we can all be together again.

With all my love Your Big Sister, Joyce.

Close to 40 years ago- there was a girl- there was a boy- so young- so in love. All odds seemed to be against them. They beat those odds. There love did nothing but grow. They brought three beautiful girls into the world. Raising them to know all things are possible. They had a wonderful life together- then tragedy struck- all odds seemed to be against them. They beat those odds again- there love did nothing but grow. We shall always remember that girl and that boy- Genny and Tom two of the greatest, strongest examples of love and devotion we have ever known.

Dad I miss you! I think of you every day. When things are going well, I think how much you would enjoy being here. When things are tough, I think of how you would still be joking and smiling. When we danced at my wedding I chose "Wind Beneath My Wings" as our song. I never realized even when your gone your still the "Wind Beneath My Wings". Thank you for all that you have given me. I love you. Natalie
