Veda Sweed-Edwards, Denver. Mother of Delilah (Harold) Edmondson of Arlington, Texas; daughter of S.C. and Thomas Sweed, both of Denver; 3 brothers; 4 sisters; 2 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends. Services, Thursday 11 a.m., Paradise Missionary Baptist Church, 3715 Garfield Street, to conclude. Visitation, Wednesday 4-7 p.m., Paradise Missionary Baptist Church. Family at 12393 Edwards Place. PLEASE NOTE: Mrs. Edwards will lie in state Thursday 10-11 a.m. at the church.
