It was my privilege to call Vic my friend for nearly 49 years, ever since the day we both walked into Sister Mary Raphalene's classroom in 1st grade at St. Louis School. We remained good friends throughout our lives, even when months went by without seeing or talking to each other. He was the best friend, brother, prom date, and confidant I could ever have asked for, and I will miss him forever. My love to Marlene and Peter, Tom, and Jim, along with that of my sister and brothers, Cathy, Larry, and John. Nancy Bell Dalton

"Victorito"!... As I called Him.
My good friend of 20 years.
The day after his passing I decided to cook a meal in his honor.
Since we both shared the love and passion of food and the enjoyment of creating "something special".
I realize as I prepared the food, I felt his presence guiding me mischievously but carefully picking the right ingredients.
Every time I had it figure out...another thought came to mind.
It felt as if he was still here enjoying every step of the process...After 2 hours...
"Victorito's Salad"!.
This magnificent creation was ready...
I Am usually very fast and decisive in the kitchen.
For the first time I had taken this long (just as Victor would do for something he loved).
And the result... This "Divine"explosion of flavor and texture that took as long to savor as to prepared.
Such a delight!
I think he approved!.
Thank you Victor for cooking with me one more time.
I love you my friend.

To one of the most caring people I have come across. The most thoughtful son in law I have ever met, judging by what his sweet mother n law says about him. Honor is all ours because "you Victor" touched our lives. Thoughts and prayers to Marlene and all of her friends and family.

I had the good fortune to get to know Victor while serving with him on the Tennyson Center Board, and I found him to be one of the kindest, most generous and gracious people I've ever encountered in that type of setting. His volunteer work and leadership through the years was really inspiring. We are so very sorry to hear of Victor's passing.

I got to share only a short time with Victor, but it was a genuine pleasure and delight. I had the privilege to witness his love for his family (including pups) and friends, his supreme enjoyment of food and sensory experiences, his sparkling eyes and never-ending smile, and his strength in facing his challenges... Aside from leaving this world sooner than any of us would wish for him, Victor demonstrated an ideal passing supported by the steadfast and generous love of Marlene. Thanks for giving me the gift of being with you.
