Margie Pruitt Obituary
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jackie Pruitt of DeRidder, LA, Tommy Pruitt of DeRidder, LA; daughters, Tammie Gibson and Danny of DeRidder, LA, Kelle Cole and Chris Jones of DeRidder, LA; sisters, Johnnie Nolan and Ernie of Jacksonville, FL; thirteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Pruitt; son, Richard Pruitt; parents, Richard and Dessie Helton; brother, Billy Helton; sisters, Shirley James, Melba Keel.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Jonathan Bell will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jeff Blanchard, Chad Pruitt, Doug Parker, Ethan Parker, Hunter Bednarek, Jeremy Worthey. Honorary Pallbearer will be Matt Loetscher. Burial will follow at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, LA.
Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.
