Vivian Smith Obituary


Vivian Smith, age 70, of DeQuincy was born on September 21, 1947 in Oklahoma and passed away on December 23, 2017 in DeQuincy, LA.
She is survived by her husband, Preston Elroy Smith, Jr. ; children, Alvin Ray Suire, Sr., Renetta Ranae Smith and husband, Gene, Kevin Wayne Suire all of DeRidder, Louisiana; grandchildren, Little Ray, Kimberly, Robert, Heather, Paul and Jamie and 17 great grandchildren. She is also surivived by her sisters, Devonna Williams of Vidor, Texas and Gloria Birch of Silsbee, Texas and brothers, Vernon D. Smith of Vidor, Texas and Preston G. Smith and wife, Charlene of Montrose, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Guy Smith and Dollie Adams Smith.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 from 5 – 8:00 P.M. at Riley Smith Funeral Home, DeQuincy, Louisiana. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2017 beginning at 2:00 P.M. at Riley Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Preston G. Smith and Rev. Alvin Dale Smith officiating. Interment will follow at DeQuincy Memorial Park.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith Funeral Home, Dequincy, Louisiana
