Blake Mair Obituary
"If you're reading this I'm already home"
I was born on September 6, 1957 in Salt Lake City to Donald D. and Anna Charlene Michelsen Mair.
I met Kathy on a summers night and ten months later we were married on June 21, 1997. We brought five kids together creating our happy and healthy family. We've enjoyed many adventures as a family from our weekend snowmobiling trips at the cabin to camping in the wilderness around us. We've enjoyed many moments that each of us and our children have our own memories of growing together.
During my career I only had a few jobs, started working for my grandparents at June's Cafe. Later on I started with Harmon's and served nearly 25 years serving the customers through out the Salt Lake Valley. Then ended my career with M & M Distributing as Operations Manager.
I had many affiliations over the years serving as President of The Salt Lake Police Palomino Posse for nearly a decade and as a member for 18 years. Vice President of the Salt Lake County 4-H Horse Counsel and advisor to the Broncos 4-H Club. Also served as Co Chairman to the Western Stampede Stock Parade and later Rodeo Chairman for the Western Stampede. Involved with Rodeo America in producing and selling the Licensed Products of the PRCA and National Finals Rodeo.
My greatest contributions are the one's that I leave behind. My wife Kathryn Webb Mair and children Jessica and Dallas Frame, Tanner Wells, Jennifer Mair, Katherine Cody Mair and Danielle Wells. Granddaughters Aspen, Irelynn and Hudsyn, my parents, my siblings Dianna (Craig) Poulsen, Dwaine, Scott (Sandy), along with many extended family and friends. Preceded in death by my loving brother Bradley and my grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 7th at 1:00 pm at Jenkins-Soffe South Valley 1007 W. South Jordan Pkwy. (10600 S). Viewings will be held on Friday, December 6th from 5-8 pm and Saturday from 11:00-12:30 prior to the service. Interment at West Jordan City Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Blake's name at Chase Bank, 5565 South 900 East or at any Chase Bank location.

Blake became part of our family when Jessica, he and Kathy's daughter maarried my Grandson Dallas. He was such a positive and fun person and only enriched my life. Our camp trips and family parties were enriched because of him and his family. I will miss him but I have peace because I know he is Happy and Free from pain. Until we meet again. Granny

Kathy, I am so very very sad to hear of this news. Words seem inadequate to express the sadness we feel in our hearts.
