I have always respected Brett as a person and as a design professional. We collaborated on many projects together with he designing and me assisting with my limited products. Brett has always been most gracious to my company and me. He will be sorely missed by me and all of us at Alder's.

Becky and family,

We can't begin to tell you how sorry we are. The tribune article said "there are dozens of young men in this area who have these kayaks who will be rowing and remembering Brett for years to come." One of those kayaks is in our back yard. Richard will never look at it the same. We love you, we love Brett for the good person, and wonderful example he has been to our entire family, especially Richard. "We're sorry" seems so trite, but the english language doesn't have words to tell you how truly sad we are . . . but how happy we are to have known him, and you.

All our love, Ruth and Klaus

Rebecca,

Your family has been in my prayers. Words are inadequate to express my feelings or to ease your pain. I am so sorry about your loss of your soul mate and the loss to your entire family. I will continue to hold warm thoughts and prayers to my Junior League Sisters in their time of grief and need of strength.

Sincerely,

Rebecca Montoya Bragdon
