1947 ~ 2025
Sandy, UT-Cheryl Jean Willey, age 78, passed away on July 25, 2025 at her home encircled by her loving family. She was born on March 24, 1947, to Clayton and Janice Skrede in Viroqua, Wisconsin. She married Richard Willey on August 30, 1967 and they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Cheryl is survived by her beloved husband, Richard, daughters, Michelle (Steve) Johnston, Carolyn (Trent) Heemeyer, Jennifer (Sean) Nerdin, sister Janet Grant, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, amazing mother, and a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She was an example to us all. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Crescent 9th Ward Chapel on 10375 S Leilani Drive, Sandy, UT. Viewings will take place at the same location on Friday, August 1st, from 6-8 PM and Saturday, August 2nd from 9:30-10:30 AM. Cheryl will be laid to rest in the Bountiful City Cemetery.
