Clifford Duncan Obituary

Clifford Mathew Duncan 1929 ~ 2007 Clifford M. Duncan, age 77, passed away June 30, 2007, in Salt Lake City at the Highland Care Center surrounded by his loving family and cousin Elaine Jones due to an ongoing illness. He was born in Tooele, Utah, on October 14, 1929, to Joseph A. Duncan and Elsie M. Pollock Duncan. Cliff worked for several auto repair shops beginning his career with Parker Brothers Automotive and ending his career many years later with Middlekauff Lincoln-Mercury. He was gifted in that nothing came along that he could not repair. Upon his retirement he continued to repair autos for family and friends. Married Carol Adderly in November 1947; later divorced. Survived by: his loving mother, Elsie Duncan; his children: Victoria (Steve) Webb, Clifford Daniel (Julie Nestor) Duncan, Lynda (Gary) Johnson & Paula (Dean) Myers; brothers and sisters: Lois (Bob) Burns, Richard (Myrna) Duncan, Erma (David) Hales, Phyllis (Ronald) Dettmar; Elaine Jones; many cousins; eight grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph, one sister, and three brothers. A special thanks to the Holladay Care Center nurses and staff for all the love and care they extended to Cliff and the family during his stay there; Dr. Robert Powell and staff; Dr. Mark S. Shockey and his team at St. Marks Hospital. Viewings to be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens (1950 East 10600 South in Sandy) on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday morning from 10 to 11.a.m. Graveside service will be held Friday, July 6, 2007 at 12 noon at Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive.
