Cody Ramseyer Obituary
Our hearts ache for the loss of Cody, our husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, friend and employer. Cody John Ramseyer aka: "Big Cody" was born on July 27, 1963 and married to Kerri Lynn Ramseyer, August 23, 2003.
He is survived by his wife Kerri, 10 children: Nathaniel, Cody Jr., Desi, McKenna, Josie,D'Cody, Tiara, Serena, Daphne, and Bevin, as well as his mother Beverly Mast, sisters-Robbyn Kasper, and Tawnya Ford.
He was the best father who loved with reason, humor and understanding. Cody's laugh was contagious and he had a really great sense of humor. He was a huge support to his mother and sisters and all he was in contact with.
He was an avid body builder. In his youth he competed successfully in body building competitions.
Later he put his energies into a successful stucco company allowing him to support his family and provide help to those in need. He opened up his home and his heart to all those seeking help. He believed in and was active in a support group.
We will miss his smile, big hugs, warmth, loving kindness, compassionate nature and ALL of the
outstanding things that he was!! WE LOVE YOU SO MUCH CODE & WILL MISS YOU DEARLY!!
Services honoring his life will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at The Hidden Valley Third Ward: 11755 S. 2075 E. (Highland Dr) Sandy, Utah 84092. Viewing: 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery 1342 E. 500 S. Salt Lake City, Utah 84102 Family and close friends will meet back at the chapel located at 11755 S. 2075 E. (Highland Dr) Sandy, Utah 84092.

Cody, I didnt know you very well, i have known your Mother for a long long time and i have missed her and your aunt shirley after i got married to Jim i lost track of them. I remember seeing you at the Alanon club a lot and you grew up a hansome caring person, Wisgh wew could have got to know each other better, My daughters Dianne Angela And Monique talked real highly of you. My mother C.J. has been inspired by your drive, the intellect you possess and how you helped everyone in every way possible. Your kindness along with the unforgettable impact you have left on myself, my mother, and family most certainly your loved ones, friends, family, and individuals you've come in contact with. To all the family , this was a great injustice cody was a good man and shouldnt have had to go so soon but you just never know when your number is up, he always had good things to say to everyone , one of his favorite was my friend if he said it he ment it , or darlin tearms of indearment he will be missed by so many, i was thinking about him the other day , wished i had called, never put of those promtings, cody it has been to long sence we talked but you was never far from me , friends forever rest in peace my friend until we meet again..

Cody was a dynamic guy! He was witty, and funny! He was a very nice buy who you wanted to be part of your group. I remember him from High School, he would always say the funniest words. Just one word and he could crack you up! I loved the Ramseyer blond hair, everybody knew who they were just by thier hair. If someone was in need of help, Cody was the one you could advise them to go to for help. My sister and I were shocked to learn of his death. Rest in peace Cody. God bless your family.

I knew Cody as a kid, his sister Tawnya lived with my mother when her son was just a baby. My mother was close friends with Bev and Shirley for most of my life. I am so sorry to hear what happened. Cody was one of the nicest guys and had a Big heart. My heart goes out to his family.

To Kerri, McKenna, Josie, D'Cody, Tiara, Daphne and Bevin, We were so shocked to hear of Cody's passing. Your Dad and husband was such a loving and compassionate man. He was the first person in the Bryan Ward that became Lee's friend after we got married. We always remember his bear hugs, even to Lee, which if you know Lee, he is kind of shy, but Cody never cared about that, he just hugged him anyway. Cody made history in the Bryan ward at the annual Cake auction when he paid the most money ever for one cake-people are still talking about it!! Smile. He was so generous that way. We were honored when he invited us to come to the Temple when he married you Kerri, it was very special to us. We were so sad when your family moved away from the Bryan ward and whenever we walk by your old house we think of all of you and the fun we had being there with you. Cody was a true friend and his memory will always be dear to us, we will never forget him
and all the acts of kindness we saw him do. You are in our thoughts and prayers. wow, what a shock. Cody was such a great guy. I was his trainer in the 80,s and he was so devoted to bodybuilding and as strong as they come. I always looked forward to seeing him in the gym. He was very inspirational to be around. I will miss him. Blessings to his family and friends. Gil Ruiz

Wow, what a loss. I am shocked. I was his bodybuilding trainer and friend in the 80,s. Cody was such a great person, great determination, strong as a bull and dilligent in his training. He always did everything I told him to do in his workouts and was really a pleasure to be around. Positive and happy, always. I remember the first time meeting Cody, he asked me if I was pres. Miners daughter, and that was really awesome to see someone that knew my family who was in the support group i was in. Since that time, about 7 years ago i got to see the family, and grow a friendship with him, Nate, and Cody Jr. May he rest in peace, and the family feel the love and support that is needed in this difficult time!
