Daniel Noffsinger Obituary
Daniel Theodore Noffsinger (87) passed away July 17, 2013 at home due to natural causes.
He was born September 23, 1925 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Verdie Venita Petersen and Daniel Marion Noffsinger. He was the oldest of 10 siblings. Clyde, Jack, Norma, Nancy, Marva, Patty, Johnny, Betty, Donna and David.
Graduated West High School and joined the U.S. Navy and served in Hawaii during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He studied at the University of Utah. He worked at the Radio Institute, Utah Sperry Engineering and retired from Hercules Bacchus Works. He served faithfully in many callings in the LDS Church throughout his life.
He married Annie Grace Gibson of Hurricane, Utah in the St. George Temple February 24, 1953. Their children are: Cheryl (John) Avery, Nancy (Ron) Haltli, Kenneth (Lisa) Noffsinger, Danette (John) Whitten, Jan (Brent) Hugh, Kristine Beckstead, Doralee (Wayne) Johnson, Sandra (Scott) Woodruff, LeAnn (Mohamed) Noffsinger, Benjamin (Emily) Noffsinger.
Dan married Patricia Helen Young July 22, 1982 in the Jordan River Utah Temple. Her children are: Gary (Linda) McDonald, Lynn (Cathy) McDonald, Dale McDonald, Pamela (Dan) Walker, Karen (Doug) Fairborn, Denise (Manuel) Cerdhé, David (Angela) McDonald, Annette (Jeff) Asbell.
Dan is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, wife Ann; stepsons Lynn (Cathy) and Dale; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson. Dan has left a legacy of love in the lives of his posterity which includes 18 children, 80 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, 12:00 noon at the Hunter East Stake Center, 5000 West Pavant Ave. (3725 So.) WVC, Utah where a viewing will be held, 9-11:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates. Arrangements under the direction of McDougal Funeral Home.

To all of my nieces and nephews...I don't know if this is proper etiquette, but I wanted to find the fastest way of telling you how much I will miss your dad. I love him with all of my heart. He was always soooo good to me and he was ALWAYS there for me. He was the greatest big brother ever. I love you all and wanted to let you know how sorry I am for your loss of a great dad, grandpa and friend. He will be so missed but remember that he is with a lot of his family that has gone on before him and they have missed him deeply all of these years that he has stayed behind to take of his life hear on earth.
