Darlene Musselman Obituary

Darlene H. Musselman 1933 ~ 2006 ROY - Darlene Hansen Musselman, 73, returned to her Heavenly Father on Monday, Nov. 6, 2006 at Crestwood Care Center, with family by her side, after an extended illness. Darlene was born in Salt Lake City on May 16, 1933 to Jesse B. and Irene Standing Hansen. Darlene's mother passed away when Darlene was ten, and she was fortunate to have a loving stepmother (Rose Johansen Hansen) to love and guide her through the remainder of her growing up years. She married Howard Neal Musselman on June 29, 1957. Together they raised five boys and were married for 42 years. They owned and operated Musselman Insurance Agency for 40 years. Darlene was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served faithfully in the positions that she held. She loved reading, gardening, cooking, spending time with her grandchildren, and going to the temple. Darlene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and mother-in-law. She loved everyone, and she was easily loved by others. Her sweet memory will remain in the hearts of all those who knew her. She is survived by four sons, James (Jill), Craig (Susan), David (Kristine), Howard Jr. (Linda), 21 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two brothers Warren (Martha) and Darrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her son John, six brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
