Sharron on this day after Christmas and seeing Daryl´s remembrance, so many memories flood my mind. The four of us had a wonderful relationship & our spontaneous trip to California was a priceless memory for all of us. My heart is full today as I can only imagine your loss! I know he is waiting by Heaven´s gate awaiting your reunion! No hurry please! We do need to get together!
Love you... Linda Hardman

I knew Daryl back in the late 60's or early 70's, when we both worked at Sutherland Lumber on Redwood Road. I'm so sorry Sharon I didn't see this for almost two years. I loved that guy, he was so funny and made the dark and dingy days at Sutherlands a happier place. When we moved back from Cedar Rapids Iowa, in the mid 1970's, Daryl helped me get a job in Orem. What a guy he was. Again I'm so sorry I didn't know about Daryl's passing till I was thinking of him, why I looked in the obit's I'll never know... Lyle

Daryl I knew that was your Corvette for sale on KSL, and I knew that there was only one way you would ever get rid of that car. It's been a lot of years since I saw you last and your one of the funnest people I know. Rest in peace my friend.

Daryl was a good friend and the best President the Corvette Club ever had. We called him "Bishop" because he always said "grin if you sin". He will be dearly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, especially Sharon.

My most heartfelt condolences to Sharon & family & also Daryl's sib's Don & Elaine.
Daryl and I were best buddies at the age of 5 and shared many adventures and happy times together growing up. I have so many stories flooding through my mind. Every Saturday we would take the bus downtown, go to Kress's drugstore, grab 5 hot dogs each, and head to the movie theatre to watch a few shows all for $1.00. We remained friends throughout the years and I can still see his smile and enjoy his witty conversations. I wish we had stayed closer in our later years and created more fun memories together. I am sure that I am the one that truly missed out!
I regret that I am unable to travel to Salt Lake for the service. He was a great friend, and I am sure will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Sorry to hear of the passing of Daryl. We grew up together on 10th east and Welby football in the street, hide-and-seek, etc.
Fun games kids in this generation know nothing about. A lot of fond memories.

Dear Sharon & Family,
I went to South High School with Daryl & I cherish every moment I can remember that
Daryl & I had together. In class or just a
hello in the hall between classes. Also he & I practiced one summer before our Sophomore year to be Cheerleaders together. But the last minute I chickened out & of coarse Daryl went on & became a South High Cheerleader. He made every one laugh. He has a welcoming heart & an infectious smile. May you Sharon, & your daughters be at peace. And know that he loves you all so very much. I send my love & I will always remember Daryl's bright smile & sweet Spirit.

I feel so blessed that I have had Daryl and Sharon in my life. To know Daryl is to love him, all his wit, shenanigans, laughter and mostly his warm genuine heart. May you feel his beautiful spirit and love surround you always. I send my love and sympathy to you Sharon and his entire family.

Luckily our hearts have niches too, warm enveloping places where the memories of the love that we have felt for others through the years is able to settle in comfortably, eventually becoming a vital part of the organ system that at first simply allows us to continue to put one foot in front of the other as grief slaps us in the face and creeps into our dreams, but somewhere down the path, will begin to facilitate a smile that grows, a laugh that erupts, a feeling of blessedness that flows.
We will forever miss Daryl but he will indeed live in our Hearts ...May God bless his Family!
Although not my words, their meaning gives hope!
