I was saddened when I just found of Elder Richs death. He was my companion in Hamilton, New Zealand. He was a very dedicated hard working missionary while we served together and had many happy experiences. He will never be forgotten and look forward to seeing him again someday.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Brother David Rich's death. We will miss his profound influence on Aaronic Priesthood Scouting. He was inspired and inspirational. He brought new perspective to my understanding of how to teach young men, and youth generally, the gospel of Jesus Christ and the associated values that bring happiness and fulfillment in life. I will be eternally grateful for being taught by David Rich.
