Dean Alan Anderson
1948-2018
Dean A. Anderson, age 69, passed away February 10, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Rita and Ray Anderson in Logan, Utah.
He proudly served his country for four years in the U.S. Coast Guard. He married Kathy Kerr on February 17, 1973 in Ely, NV. Dean loved God, his family, his friends, his career as a Journeyman Lineman, time at the Lake property, and the Utah Utes.
Dean is survived by his wife Kathy, two daughters; Alfie Symes and Kelli (Boone) Ashcraft, four grandchildren; Triniti and Kieran Ashcraft, and Kenyan and Silas Symes, and his brother Gregg Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers; Art and Johnny Anderson.
A graveside service will be held Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park at 17111 S. Camp Williams Road (Redwood Road) Bluffdale, UT 84065. Immediately after, there will be a Celebration of Life for Dean at the El Nautica Boat Club in Saratoga Springs at 3192 S. Redwood Rd., Saratoga Springs, UT 84045 for all of Dean's friends and family. In lieu of flowers please donate to the American Cancer Society.
