Debra Ann Dautel was born May 11, 1960 to Daniel G. Dautel and Daleene Mary Olsen Dautel in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was the second of five children. Debbie was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Debbie grew up in West Bountiful and graduated from Viewmont High School. Debbie married Alan Vida in 1992, they later divorced but remained best friends. She worked for Merit Medical in South Jordan, Utah as International Customer Service Manager. She was a dedicated employee and enjoyed working with people from all around the world. Debbie passed away April 9, 2017 from complications of pneumonia. She was a strong, determined woman who faced many health challenges with grace and courage. Debbie will be missed by her family, friends and co-workers. Debbie is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Debbie is survived by her siblings, Dana Sproul (Mark), D. Scott Dautel (Tami), Darren Dautel (Keri), Denise Dautel. She is survived by her nieces and nephews, and other family members as well as Alan Vida, her former husband. Preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Daleene Dautel.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highland 2nd Ward 9897 South Dunsinane Drive, South Jordan, Utah where friends may call Monday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens in Sandy, Utah.
