Dear Carpenter Family,
I was sorry to hear of your father's passing. I lived in the 17th ward over 30 years ago where your father taught me the meaning of a honest days work for an honest days pay. Don gave me my first job at the poultry farm, an experience I will never forget.
Sincerely,

Kathy Gehrke

Dear
Carpenter Family,
I have so many fond memories of your father and mother. They are such
special people. I remember the chicken canning experience over at your
home. It took awhile before I could eat the chicken! I remember going
to camp with your mother. It was always fun to see your mother and
father dance -- especially the polka Your father was such a good
bishop. I am sorry I missed the funeral. I didn't hear about it until
yesterday. I will always cherish the sweet memories of your family. May
Heavenly Father's choicest blessings be with you at this time. Love,
Kathy Gehrke

Dear Carpenter Family
We are so sorry to hear of your fathers passing we have such great memories when they lived across the street from us on Belle Meadows. I have some great memory’s talking to your dad in the front yard he would like to talk about everything. It was a pleasure to look out our living room window and see a beautiful lawn and flower garden. I have never seen a man put so much chicken manure in a flower bed but obliviously it paid off. We have so many fond memories of the times we shared with your Mom and Dad we will miss them. They are together now again they were a special couple and we are lucky to have known them we will always think of them with love in our hearts.

Love Ed and Linda Larsen and Family
