Edward Black Obituary

Edward C. BlackJr .  7/5/27 ~ 8/22/04  Edward C. Black Jr. left this earth to join his earthly parents, his grandson Brian and his Heavenly Father on Aug; 22, 2004.  He was born in Washington D.C. On July 5, l927 ( missing the 4th of July by a few minutes) . His life was full of love for his family, his country and his God. He flew in the Berlin Airlift and retired as a Col. after 35 years of service in the Air Force. Boating was his passion even living on one for a year!  He leaves behind five children , Sheri Covington, April Black, Rebecca Little, Scott Black and Brett Black, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. But most of all, he leaves behind his loving wife Cindy of 28 years. Until we meet again, when a flag is raised, or an airplane roars by, he will be in our thoughts.  Funeral Services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. at the Utah Veterans Memorial Park 17111 Camp Williams Rd where friends may call one hour prior. Funeral directors Broomhead Funeral Home.
