It's hard to wrap my head around the fact that Eric isn't here. I don't like thinking that he's just a memory now. Eric was an amazing person! He always wanted you to be happy. He never stayed mad and was quick to forgive. No matter what i did he was always there to support me. He took our family in and excepted us for who we were. He was my dad, the guy I always ran to for help. He always made everything right. He was our giant teddy bear. He was the best thing that happened to us. He came into our lives 16 years ago and changed everything. He is our hero. everything we have is because of him I honestly don't know what kind of person I would be if it wasn't for him. I love him more than anything I don't know how we'll be without him. He'll always be my friend, my hero, my dad, my papa.

Kay Jean, We are saddened to hear of Eric's passing. We didn't know until today that he didn't make it. Last we'd heard, he had been revived and was in the hospital. You have both been in our prayers all week. May the Lord bless you and the entire family with His spirit and with comfort.

Eric will be missed at Komatsu. I talked to him just about everyday and he would ask me about computers and our network and then he would talk about his son who is in IT. Hopefully they have classes in heaven on computers. Our love and prayers to your family big guy..

I am sincerely sorry for your loss. I have known Eric my entire life because he worked with and was good friends with my grandma, Judy. We would come visit and he was always so sweet and so fun. About 5 years ago, I also started working at Komatsu and he was a true delight to work with everyday. He was kind, caring, and I loved listening to him sing from across the way. What a dear, sweet man to lose.

We will truly miss Eric and his infectious smile and affable personality. We join with all who know Eric in the sadness of his passing and the comfort of the Gospel message that says we will meet again in that better place where Eric is now. Unfortunately, we will be in Idaho this weekend or we would surely attend the funeral. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with Kay and all the family at this time.
