Frank McFadden Obituary

Frank E. McFadden 09/21/36 ~ 06/23/05 Frank was born to John Joseph McFadden and Edna Alfred McLeod Sept. 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan. He died July 23, 2005 in Salt Lake City after a long battle with diabetes and multiple associated illnesses. He served in the Army more than 21 years. He loved to give to others, always taught correct principals, and encouraged his family to succeed. He loved scouting, fishing, hunting, and the outdoors. He honored his priesthood and encouraged his sons to do the same. He has always loved serving the people around him. Frank and Clea's legacy are their wonderful children and grandchildren. I have enjoyed my association with your son Kris for several years and he examplifies your qualities.

Although we both were born and raised in the Detroit area I did not meet Frank until we were both stationed on Okinawa in 1958.We were both in the same unit in the Army. Frank left there before I did and I never expected to see him again , but lo and behold I rejoined him again at Ft. Belvoir in 1961. We both remained in that outfit for the rest of our Army careers. Frank was a caring and compassionate man in all the years I knew him.

My heart goes out to all his family although I have never met any of them.
