Jaren Cole Barker
2000 ~ 2022
- Our beloved Jaren Cole Barker was born on a bright sunny summer day, July 20, 2000, and unexpectedly and suddenly passed away on May 4, 2022. He had brilliant bright blue eyes with the purest white head of hair that he cherished.
Jaren resided in Midvale with his beautiful girlfriend, Rosemary Villacorta in their very own first apartment together. He cherished his relationship with her and left behind his unborn baby Prince Kenzo Jaren Lee Barker. Jaren was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first-born son (born on May 9,2022) and was looking forward to pouring his huge loving heart into raising his son. Jaren is a carefree spirit, always on the go and had a hard time sitting still. He let everyone know he loved them, even in times where he was in trouble or getting on nerves he would always follow up with, LOVE YOU and was never short on giving one of his amazing comforting hugs! He had a hint of mischief and excitement in his brilliant blue eyes and liked to harass those he loved most. Once he grew taller than his dad, he made sure to let him know by hugging him with his arms over his shoulders just to remind him that he had outgrown him, he also played OCD tricks on him by moving items around the house and waiting to see how long it would take for his dad to move them back to their rightful place. He has such a fun-loving personality, was so fun to be around and he absolutely loved when everyone got together to spend special quality time. Jaren reacted to situations with strong feelings of love and passion but was remorseful, genuine and took responsibility for his actions. Jaren didn't realize the impact he had on others, he touched the lives of all that knew him in some way or another with his thoughtful, compassionate, loving heart. He was always willing to offer advice, lend an ear to listen or offer help in any way he could. He is a hard worker, was proud of a good day's work and had recently started a new job that he enjoyed. Jaren had an extremely close relationship with his whole family, he was an active member of the cousin "Wack Pack" on snap chat that kept them all in touch laughing with each other daily. Jaren loved to play his video games, dance (he had some good moves) listen to music, cook, eat Rosemary's mother's authentic Mexican food, spend time at the cabin and most of all spend time with those that he loved and that loved him! He will be forever adored, loved and missed by all that have been fortunate enough to have known his kind soul, we will try to find gratitude during the dark days ahead and be there for each other to lean on. Most of all everyone will provide precious memories of Jaren so his baby Prince will know how amazing his father was and we will eagerly watch for Jaren's sweet traits to be passed on in his precious newborn son, Prince!
Jaren is survived by his newborn son Prince Kenzo Jaren Lee Barker and his girlfriend Rosemary Villacorta; loving parents Christian Michelle Martin, Rick Lee Barker and family; his devoted siblings, Emma Medina, Daxton Francom, Jaxon Martin, Lacee Mortensen and #1 and only nephew Roman Christiansen; he was blessed with dedicated grandparents Pete and Geneva Mortensen, Marsha and Lou Hurtado, Rick C and Peg Barker; aunts Dixie Petersen, Shilene Roden, better known as Bosco, Christina Lund; uncles Sean Petersen, Jay Roden, Tony Carlson, Steve Barker and Family; cousins Alex Jackson and family, Tristen Petersen, Tanner Petersen, Averie Petersen, Jayden Roden, Jaylie Roden, Gavin Denovellis, Kyler Lund and Aiden Carlson.
Jaren was welcomed with open arms for a joyous reunion in heaven with his loving older sister Britnie Mortensen.
Jaren's life will be celebrated and remembered at an open house on Friday, June 3, 2022, at the Bluffdale Town Hall located at 2222 W. 14400 S., Bluffdale, Utah from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
