Elaine and family,
I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Jay. He was one of my dearest patients. I always enjoyed having him come into the office even when he did not feel well. You and your family are so wonderful and my heart hurts for your loss.
All my love

Dear Elaine and family, What a shock to read of Jay's passing! I first met Jay when we were in the same class at the U of U to study the professional insurance degree CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter) part one. In those days there were 5 parts and now there are 10! Jay decided to concentrate only on CLU classes the next year, while the rest of us struggled with part 2! He passed them all and then we knew what the "B" meant in his name! He was known thereafter as "Brains" Horrocks! Jay will be missed and what a great legacy he leaves! God bless his family! Love Alvin S. and Sharon Anderson

I first met Brother Jay Horrocks in 1979 when he invited me to Salt Lake City from Billings Montana to interview for a job as an agent with BLIC - Beneficial Life. I took the test that he had created to determine my success in the business. Yay, I passed. Jay expressed his confidence in me which gave me confidence in myself. He was always so positive and so supportive. I loved Brother Jay ... you are missed and fondly remembered by all.

So sorry to see Jay's passing. He was always happy and smiling. Jay was a great example to me growing up for the goodness of humanity. Hope you are at peace with his passing. My condolences and love. You will be reunited again. God bless you all.

I always looked to Jay as an example of the man I I would want to marry some day. Altho he was a few years older, I thought he was wonderful, handsome, kind and a leader in everything he did.
