Jean Christensen Obituary
Loving Mother and
Grandmother
Sandy, Utah-Jean E. Christensen, age 71, passed away on April 8, 2016. Born to Frank and Margret Dlabach in Cleveland, Ohio, Jean was the youngest to two dear sisters. Jean had a love of styling hair and had a talent of making people feel beautiful. She was curious about everything and it developed into a love of books and documentaries. She loved her husband, Robert B. Christensen, who preceded her in passing. Together they had two children, Robert S. Christensen and Barbara (Mike) Emery, whom she loved dearly. She had two beloved grandchildren Trevor and Nichole Emery. Jean will be remembered as someone who would do anything for her loved ones and as someone who embraced life with a great passion. The family will honor Jean's passing with a viewing at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84123, on Thursday, April 14, 2016. Family will meet with friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M.

Deepest sympathy Robert and Barbara, and all of Jean's family. Years ago, we worked together at the jewelry department at JC Penney's. She was a wonderful lady to work with, and was a kind friend with a big heart. My visit with her only a few weeks ago was great and we shared some happy memories. I will miss her.

My sweet mother, you no longer have to suffer with cancer. You're now in the arms of my dad again. I hope you are surrounded in flowers, and peace. I will always remember you as the greatest mother and grandmother. You would take a spider and carry it outside rather than smash it. You were the greatest listener. I love you and dad forever.
