Jeanette Cox Obituary

1939 ~ 2012
Jeanette Anderson Cox, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, passed away peacefully, April 1, 2012, surrounded by family at her son's home in Mapleton, Utah. She courageously battled multiple myeloma for 5 ½ years.
She was born December 15, 1939, in Oak City, Utah, to Francis Ellis and Macel Anderson. She married Max L Cox on July 30, 1960, in the Manti Temple. They were later divorced. Jeanette lived in Gardnerville, Nevada, for 30 years, while employed at Bently Nevada Corp. Upon retirement, she moved to American Fork, Utah. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Primary and Relief Society. She loved her family, and delighted in spending time with them. She also enjoyed cheering for the Utah Jazz, playing Rook and Bunco, cooking, collecting recipes, and traveling.
Jeanette is survived by her children, Kenneth M (Jill) Cox, Tracy A Cox, Cherene (Steven) Giles, Janell (Michael) Andelin, Leanne (Warren) Davidson, and Randell Ellis Cox, 17 grandchildren, sister Avis Lewis, and brother Paul Edward (Kathy) Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Francis Lyman Anderson and John Morrey Anderson, sister Carma Anderson, and granddaughter Elizabeth Cox.
The family would like to thank Nancy Trapnell, Dr. Garner, and the staff with VistaCare Hospice for their loving care of Mom during the past year. We would also like to thank her many friends and neighbors who blessed her life with their thoughtfulness.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork 38th Branch LDS Chapel, 2433 West 450 South, Pleasant Grove, Utah. Family and friends may call from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Oak City Cemetery. Funeral Directors - Warenski Funeral Home of American Fork, Utah.
