Jessie Button Casper

Jessie Button Casper 1918 ~ 2006 Jessie Button Casper, age 87, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, returned to the loving arms of her husband and Heavenly Father on July 27, 2006. Born in Bozeman, Montana, September 21, 1918 to Alson Button and Lillian Wells. She married Myron J. Casper on February 7, 1940. Their marriage was later sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple on August 5, 1953. Prior to moving to Centerville in 1982, she and Myron lived in Bozeman, Montana. There, Jessie worked outside the home at Darigold, as a cook in several restaurants, and housekeeper. She was a member of the Duel Creek Ward in the Centerville Stake prior to moving to Avalon Care Center in Bountiful. She and Myron loved the outdoors and both loved to hunt, fish and camp. She was devoted to her family, loving and caring for each member. He children, great and grandchildren were all very special to her. She survived by her loving son, M. Richard (Ann) of Centerville; daughter, Becky Claus of Bozeman, MT; 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grand children and three great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her loving husband, her parents, two sisters, three brothers, and a daughter, Jessie Christensen. The family wishes to express thanks to the staff at Lakeview Hospital and Dr. Sam Wilson. Jessie could not have received better care or more love then by those who worked wit her at Avalon Care Center in Bountiful Funeral services will be held Friday, August 4, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main where friends and family may call Thursday evening 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday morning 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
