We were very sad to hear of your loss. And disappointed we found out after the services. Diana you have taught me a lot. And I admire your unconditional love for your family. You have a wounderful family and I grew to love and care for many of them. We hope to see you soon, The Parks family

Diana,
I am so sorry for the loss of Jodie. His last few years here at CoW were defintley a tough one! But of course Jodie pulled through every challenge the same...with a smile! I am glad he got to enjoy some time off with all of you! He cherished and adored all of you so much! I would have to agree with Michelle and Margaret, he was always the prankster! Always had a joke for you and all of the customers! And who can forget his count down to Christmas?? Something we always looked forward too! Till we meet again Jodie...flip a rubber band for me! You all are in my thoughts.

It is with a heavy heart that I sign this guest book.
Diana I hope you know how much I love you and Jodie and I want you and your sweet family to know that I have been so inspired by Jodie. He never ONCE complained or cursed God for what happened to him. The Love you two show for each other and to your family is admired. Jodie has more integrity than most men I know and he was at all times a true child of God who honored his Priesthood and never spoke any guile.
I was in awe of his sweet spirit and work ethic, and I always looked forward to seeing him every day at Cream O'Weber and enjoyed the pranks he played and his funny sense of humor! I never would have made it 11&1/2 years if not for Jodie and others at CreamO'Weber...I also was the recipient of Jodies rubber band antics..and loved every minute of it! I always felt honored when Jodie would ask me to massage a knot out of his back...except for the time that I was kneading his back so hard that he passed out on me! ...Scared the livin' daylights out of me and I called Steve Panson to come over from the Plant to check him out since Steve at the time was a Paramedic. Even then...as sick as Jodie was...his work ethic entact...he did not want to go home.
Again..the man inspires me...and I am in awe~
I want you to know how lucky and blessed we all are for having known and worked with Jodie, He blessed our lives more than I think even he knew...but I knew~
May Our Heavenly Father Bless and Comfort you all...and may He hold each of us safely in the palm of His hand until we meet again~
Love,
Laura Oscarson-Wilde

To Jodean and Angela,
It is with a heavy heart that I read about the passing of your father. We haven't seen each other for many years, but the love and friendship we had (back in the Village Inn days) still exists. I send to you and your family my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.

Working with Jodie at Cream o Weber was a real pleasure. He always brightened everyones day with a joke and a big wonderful smile. Also,He wasn't past playing a little practicle joke now and then. He especially liked flipping rubber bands over the cubicles. He just loved to hear the person in the cuticle let out a scream of surprise as the rubber bands caught them off guard. Jodie would just laugh with delight. He brought us all so much joy.
Jodie was also a wonderful example at work. For most of the time he worked at the dairy, he hardly took a sick day. He was always there (through good and bad times) and always took a lot of pride in doing his job well. His work ethics were a wonderful example for all of us.
Jodie loved his family so much and never missed a chance to talk about his grandchildren or his family. He was so proud of you all.
The world was a wonderful place with Jodie here. We will really miss him.

I know there are no words that can comfort you at this time but I am sorry for you all having to be without your loved one. He was a funny guy who always made me laugh when I talked to him. Remember all the times you had and the special moments you shared and lock those memories and feelings in your heart and then you will always have him with you.
