John Duran Obituary
John Anastasio Duran, 71. Our beloved Father, passed away Thursday evening April 13, 2017. Born December 3, 1945 in Taos New Mexico, he was a long-life resident of Salt Lake City Utah. As an avid golfer, he spent his retirement working and playing golf at Meadowbrook Golf Course.
Celebration of life will be held on April 27, 2017 at Meadowbrook Golf Course at 1:00 pm. Golf casual.

I just found out about John today. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I have very fond memories of your dad; playing golf and softball. He was always very good to me. I know how hard it is to lose a parent. You are all in my thoughts and prayers...

Rest well "Hito."
It's hard to believe that it's been more than twenty years since John & I worked together at Sears. I really enjoyed the opportunity to gather and oral history from him as part of fulfilling one of my Ethnic Studies courses. He'll be greatly missed.

Tiffany, Brooke, Nick;
I am so sorry for your loss.
Even though we have not seen much of each other in the last few years your father has always been one of my favorite people. I always looked up to him as a man and a father. He was such a great person and loved his family.
I remember when my kids were small and every Christmas your dad would bring the kids a box of oranges and a 5 dollar bill, which they always looked forward to. He will be missed.
Cherish all your memories and he will always be with you.
