Mrs. Davidson!! I was asked the other day, who my favorite teacher was through all my years of school. I didn't hesitate to say your name, after all these years! I'm now almost 40 yrs old, married my beautiful wife and we have 2 beautiful daughters.
I graduated high school in 2004. Mrs. Davidson was my teacher when I attended Fox Hills Elementary in the late 90's. I can honestly say that I don't remember any of my elementary teachers' names, other than hers! As a member, I know that we will see each other again and I'll be able to thank you for everything myself!

To Jolene's family,
I read thru the guest book & was reacquainted with a bright bubbly teenager from our ward in Phoenix in the 70's. I had lost track of her but am not surprised that she grew into the kind of woman she is. More kids should have had the opportunity to have had her for a teacher. In Young Women she was always laughing & enjoying every minute she had. Evans & Sylvia we want you to know that we are thinking of ALL of the Heywoods & Davidson's at this time. I worked with Jolene at Fox Hills for several years. She was always so energetic and healthy, walking the halls during lunch eating her carrot and celery sticks.:) I will truly miss her sincere friendship and laughter. Your in my thought and prayers.

I had the pleasure of teaching with Jolene while at Fox Hills. She was a wonderful teacher and a great colleague. She was always such a happy and enjoyable person. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Mrs. Davidson was my 5th grade teacher 19 years ago. She was definately one of my favorites and made a big impact on my life. I am saddened to hear of her passing. She was and is still a very special person.

As an STS for Granite School District I have known Jolene for many years. This year I had the opportunity of helping her out at Skyline High School with on-line testing. The teachers and staff showed such concern and reference for Jolene that was remarkable. The experience of helping out will always be with me. Thank you.

We are so sorry to hear of Jolene's passing. Our family loved her so much when we lived in South Jordan. I know it has been a hard time, but she isn't in pain anymore. May the Lord give you the comfort that you all need.

Words cannot express the gratitude we have for "Mrs. Davidson"! She was the right person in the right place for our daughter, Jennifer, after a very difficult 4th grade year. She was the wind beneath her wings and helped her to fly again!! What an absolute angel she was! Thank you for sharing her with so many of us. Truly the saying, "I am a teacher, therefore I touch lives" couldn't be more true for her!

I do not know your family personally but I share the name "Davidson" and feel a spiritual connection with you. When I saw the name and read about her passing, I just had to read the blog also, and I felt myself mourning her loss along with you. Jolene must be a special woman to have so many caring and loving people attest to her wonderful character. Our sympathy is sent to you from Mexico where we are serving as missionaries. "Mrs. Davidson" was such a bright light in the halls of Fox Hills Elementary where our children attended school. Jolene always had the best attitude about life. I loved to hear her laugh. She was a wonderful colleague and friend. She enjoyed talking about her family and the fun they had together. Over the years, as we moved on to other schools, it was great to meet her at a retirement parties, workshops, or other places and catch up on families and friends. She was a gift to all who knew her. My thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones.

Jolene excelled at everything she did; teaching, running, learning, and loving. She was my true friend. She taught us about optimism. She showed us how to live, how to love and how to die. Jolene was the happiest teacher I have ever met. We were so lucky to have her when she taught at Fox Hills! Her sunny disposition was a gift to all of us. What a wonderful person she was!
