Jose Jaramillo Obituary

Jose Alberto Jaramillo 1921 ~ 2005 Jose Alberto Jaramillo, 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away April 17, 2005, surrounded by his adoring family. He was born November 27, 1921 in El Rito, New Mexico to Pablo and Selcia Trujillo Jaramillo. He married Maria Senadita Leyba in Canjilon, New Mexico. She preceded him in death. Alberto married Ofelia Reyes at St. Therese Catholic Church in Midvale, Utah on December 21, 1983. Alberto was a member of the Catholic Church. As a Veteran of World War II, he received many different medals of honor. He was President of Social in the state of Utah and organized many dances. Dancing was an activity he loved to do. Survivors: wife, Ofelia Reyes Jaramillo; children, Gilbert (Kathy) Jaramillo, Delsy (Jake) Candelario, Paul (Terri) Jaramillo, Juan Antonio (Angelina) Jaramillo, Danny (Joyce) Jaramillo, Steve-JuJu Jaramillo, Albert Jr. (Tony) Jaramillo, Gloria (Ralph) Gallegos, Phillip (Abby) Jaramillo, Kathy Jaramillo, Tina (Dennis) Jenkins, Angie Hogan, Larry Reyes, Armando Reyes; numerous grandchildren and great-grand-children. Preceded in death by Senaedita Jaramillo; son, Leroy A. Jaramillo; also brothers and sister. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, April 22, 2005, at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 210 So. Chapel St., Layton, Utah. Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 21, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in the Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State St., Midvale, Utah, where friends may call Thursday 6-7:30 p.m. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery.
