Julie Ridd Obituary

Julie Weston Ridd

November 17, 1953 ~ May 26, 2025

Fruit Heights, UT - Julie Weston Ridd departed peacefully in her sleep on the morning of Memorial Day, May 26, 2025, to be reunited with her beloved husband, Jim. Fittingly, she loved holidays and will always be remembered on this day.

Julie was born on November 17, 1953, in Logan, Utah, to Todd and Joyce Weston-arriving 22 minutes after her twin sister, Joycie.

She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in fashion design and married Jim Ridd in the Logan Temple in 1976.

If Julie's life had a theme, it would be service. Her dedication to her church callings was a testament to her deep faith and love for others. She and Jim served a mission in Kearns, Utah, where they developed a special love for the Polynesian culture and the members of the Pesega Ward.

Julie loved decorating, playing pickleball, arranging and playing piano and harp music, serving meals, and quilting.

She enjoyed vacationing with Jim and her friends. She loved to share the gospel, and you could always find her on any given day reading & studying the scriptures.

She poured love into everything she did, especially for her grandchildren. Each of them received a handmade quilt, and they looked forward to personalized birthday cakes and time with her.

Even as she battled Leiomyosarcoma cancer, Julie continued to serve and love others-right up to the day she passed. She is adored by all who knew her and her legacy will live on in all the lives she has touched.

Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Jim, and her son, Nick. She is survived by her twin sister Joyce (Greg), brothers Bart (Judy), Randy (Debbie), and Sam (Judy); her children Weston (Jessica), Andrew, and Abigail; and her grandchildren: Morgan, Carson, Malia, Lucy, Summit, McKinley, Bear, and Atlas.
