Mr. Jex was my principal when I attended Longview Elementary as a child. I remember his smile whenever I saw him in the hall, and I have memories of him holding up one or two fingers at the assemblies to remind us to quiet down!

My mother was a teacher, and Mr. Jex later became the principle at the school where she was teaching. She always mentioned to me how kind he was to her, and I witnessed that first hand when he brought her a Big Gulp when he attended my sister's wedding!

My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this time. I'm grateful to have known Mr. Jex.

Sincerely,
