Laurie- You are the strongest person I know, and I have never met anyone with such compassion for any and everyone whose crossed your path. Our friendship developed over 6 years ago and grew stronger every day we talked. I watched you battle your many illnesses with grace. You never complained, always joked, and never let on to how much pain you were really in. You loved and cared for so many people, and I admire your never ending strength! I had so much fun with you in defas and our initials will remain engraved forever in their tree! Even though I forced you, we had so much fun fishing, horseback riding and cooking dirt filled foil dinners. On our last trip it was my pleasure to get you dolled up with make up and hair...your only rule was to tuck your hair and drink :} I was so happy that you met a handsome gentleman to dance with and kiss goodnight. We shared so many laughs and those were my best memories ever! I'm so glad you went out in style....I love you with all my heart and you will always be my best friend! Defas was your favorite place to be and I am privileged to have experienced that with you. Your children and grandchildren were your life and I am grateful to have finally met them all! you have a truly amazing family that loves and protects each other, and you raised them well. As hard as it is for me to let you go, I know you are no longer in pain and are finally whole again. Please watch down on us and heal our aching hearts! Please show us your amazing smile is still ours to cherish. You will forever be in my heart. I love you dude!!!! Many thanks and love, Misty
