Dad, I miss you. I miss hearing your funny stories and your laughter. I miss hearing you break out into song and singing with everything you had. I'll never forget the time 5 years ago when you were lying in bed at the University Hospital with sepsis. You looked so weak and frail, until you broke out singing "Old Man River" and your voice was so rich and strong and sweet you didn't seem frail anymore. The nurses and orderlies walking by slowed down, each stopping to look in, amazed that you could sing so well and strong, yet being sick in bed! It was such a blessed time with you then. WE had many sweet times together, just you and I. I will always treasure them. I miss hearing you say "I love you." I knew that one day you wouldn't be able to say it anymore. The day you left us, you still tried to say it one more time. I know. I heard you....and I love you too Dad!

Dad, my life with you was this amazing journey. beginning with the living and active gospel and continuing with the building of my faith. I can't thank you enough for remaining faithful to the path God planted your feet on, and for completing it no matter what. I wanted to hear so much more from your ministry. But now I know that it is only just the beginning. I'm looking forward with so much joy to seeing it continue. you are and always will be the biggest inspiration and influence in my life aside from Jesus Christ. I also look forward to hearing you sing again and to worship the Almighty God, together again in music and song. Everyday the imprint of your voice; your words and songs, still guide me as I move through life. You are always with me forever. I love you.

Dad, I could write a thousand pages on what you mean to me and what you taught me. When I learned that you were so strong, I wanted to be strong like you. You could carry 2 bags of cement, one on each shoulder. That's 200 pounds! You could do 50 pushups when you were 80 years old. I did my 25 push-ups for you, because it made you so proud of me. You were not only physically strong, you were strong in knowledge, and strong in character. From you I learned, to under promise and over deliver, be on time because other peoples time matters, ask people for favors because it makes them feel valuable, always give, give, give and I give you credit for my ability to memorize the city to get anywhere I need to go. You always forgave me, never scolded me, taught me through grace and only saw the best in me. I will miss you dearly until we meet again in heaven. I will always remember how many times you told me you love me. And when you lost your voice, your last words you lipped to me were "I love you too".

Dad, you lifted me onto your shoulders when I was three years old and I was afraid at first, but thanks to your patience guidance and care, it was all up from there. I love you, Dad.

What a team Louis and Marguerite Millet made. Their thirteen children are a testimony to their blessed marriage. You couldn't find a more beautiful and talented family.

It was with great joy in the midst of mourning that I came to know Louis had accepted the saving Grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ. I look forward to our reunion and fellowship in that day of our Lord's return. All my love and best wishes to the family.

So much of my early life was formulated by my Uncle Louis. He taught me at a very young age that there was no reason to be afraid of the dark
He recited many prose and poetry such as “The Highway Man”-came riding up to the old Inn door” and “East is East and West is West” and never the twain Shall Meet.
And that my cousin Taunya, though only four years old could now read books
He taught me about many things that shall come to pass in the last days.
He taught me meanings to many parts of the “Book of Elias”
He told me countless stories and songs so far in my past that I hope to remember them only in my memories.
He helped me pour over 30 cubic yards of concrete over the roof of my garage for a radiant heat floor I was building for a second story when he was well in his 70's. His only access was by a single ladder.
Only two years ago I filmed him singing “Jerusalem, O Jerusalem”
His fervent faith, his laughter and songs sung with that beautiful tenor voice shall stay with me.
He was received into Glory by Jesus, his family and friends.
He shall again be able to sing praises, but this time from on High.
