I had the pleasure of working with Matt for many years while he was at Asante Health. We became very close during those years. I'll miss him and his humor. Matt was an incredible great guy and super family man. My thoughts and prayers are with Noelle and the kids during this time.

I have hundreds of memories of Matt, we worked together and traveled. He was like a brother to me. He was smart, hilarious, dedicated, spiritual and he loved his family ferociously. I’m still in shock but I know he is preparing the way. I am a much better person for knowing him and that comes directly from the book of “Mermisms”, he wanted me to write. See you on the other side brother!

I'm glad that I had the chance to work with Matt at both Siemens and the University of Utah Health. Matt was a kind person, and always had a cheerful, funny presence in the office. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. He will be missed by so many.

Matt was a very dear friend of mine. He was a colleague, mentor and, most importantly, a close friend. Matt could make anyone laugh with his quick wit and sense of humor. He was called home way too soon and those of us left behind will mourn his passing for a long time. Noelle, Madison, Abigail and Carter, Matt was always talking about all of you in our chats. He loved you so much - he will continue to bless you until you are all together again. My heart hurts and tears flow knowing we will not have his presence here but he will take care of those he loves from his Heavenly home. Goodbye for now, my friend! Say hello to Larry for me...
