hello dear family of elder Burrow, i am from Romania, i am a member of the church too my name is Traian Constantin , i become a member last June in 2009, and i am grateful for God that he show me the right way where to go for the right church.
Please accept my honest Condolence for your son. i meat your son in Bucharest, we were so great friends, i was admiring him because of his talent playing piano, and he was admiring me back too because i am a pianist too.
he had a really nice hand, he had a very good feeling of the rhythm and of the sounds and a good technique and soft hands for piano, we use to play together in church. we plan after his mission to write each one more other but now ......... not any more....... until i will meet him again. i really miss him now. he was a person that he liked to be an open mind, and very friendly, more mature for his age , very deep in his thoughts.
I know he will continue to be a great pianist in God's Kingdom playing and singing with the angels for our Heavenly Father!
May God bless your soul taking your pains out and put His mercy in to you all, by resurrecting you and meet your beloved son again. All to be done in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

Dana and Shirley,
I am Stuart Ostlers mother,Susan. He is on a mission in Mexico and was friends with Mckay from High School. He asked me to get in touch with you and Give you all a big hug and let you know that he loves you and is thinking about you at this time. He sent a message in his letter dated Feb 8. I post his letters on a site called missionsite.net and then you type in Ostler and you will have access to that letter. I tried to give you a copy at your home the other day but you have moved. Stuart speaks highly of Mckay and we all wish the Lords hand to comfort and bless you at this time. We live in the 2nd ward near Josh Sharps family.
God Bless you Darrell and Susan Ostler

Dear Burrows Family,
When I heard of your son's death while serving a Mission I felt a kinship with you. In 1974 my brother Garth was serving a Mission in Great Britain and was killed in a car accident. I pray that you will feel a great peace & comfort from Heavenly Father, as we did. Recently I was asked to write about my brother for a book called 'The Tranfer, stories of Missionaries Who Gave the Last Full Measure of Devotion'. So Garth has been on my mind a lot lately. Your son has also given the last full measure of devotion. God Bless your family.

The Burrows Family,
I wanted to take a minute to exspress my love and concern for you at this time. It has been many years since we lived in Highland on Alpine Circle. We have some fond memories of your family. McKay was Cody's age and they went to scouts together. You were a wonderful family and a great example to us.Cody is serving a mission in Arizona at this time and has asked us to exspress his love and concern to you all. We pray that your faith and prayers will help you and void you up at this time.

Again, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this tender time; I pray your heart will be comforted. Know you are not forgotten. Dear Burrows Family, We were very sad to hear of your son's passing. Our son Elder Mark Mason served with him in the MTC for ten weeks and became good friends. It was very hard for Mark to hear of his death. We are sending him your address because he very much wants to write to you concerning Elder Burrows and some of their experiences in the MTC. Please know that our fervent prayers and thoughts are with you and your family, knowing that it could have been any of us, and knowing of our son's great love for your son. Mark is serving in the Hungary Budapest mission. May Heavenly Fathers Spirit comfort you and confirm the reality of the Spirit World...and his mission there, the atonement which prepares the way for us to be together again eternally and a glimpse at the big picture which will give understanding to this separation.

Our hearts go out to your entire family for the loss of your wonderful son. Our son serves in the Romaina Bucharest Mission, and spent Christmas Eve and Christmas day with your son. Our son told us "Elder Burrows is such a cool and great missionary. I can't wait to serve with him!" As missionary parents, we feel a common thread that ties us together. When we heard the news, we wept and prayed for your family and thanked our Heavenly Father for your son's faithful service. May you find peace in knowing the great plan of happiness and in the Savior's loving arms. Love, The Harley Family, Kevin, Charlene, Elder Travis Harley, Greg, Jenelle and Kaitlyn

Dear Burrows Family, I am deeply sadden at the lose of McKay. While I was in your ward, I admired your family and enjoyed the friendships we enjoyed. I loved to listen to McKay play the piano and wish I was able to play that well. I hope you find peace knowing he is still serving his mission, not on earth, but in heaven and he looks forward to the sweet reunion with you. I am not able to attend the viewing or funeral but know I am thinking of you and pray for peace and comfort and this time. I love you

Dear Burrows Family,
As a returned missionary from the Russia St. Petersburg Mission, I consider each Elder and Sister who serves or served in Eastern Europe a special kindred Brother and Sister to me. There just is a connection that those of us who walks the streets of the former Eastern Bloc has with each other and it is understood and special. It matters not that I speak a Slavic language and McKay speaks a Romance language but it is a language of commonality between us that binds each of us who get called to Eastern Europe. I just have to say Thank you so very, very much for allowing him to serve his Heavenly Father in the Romania Bucharest Mission and now in the Spirit World to others awaiting the Good News of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Dear Burrows Family,

Please know how much we have prayed that the Lord would comfort you during this last week. Our son, Brett Johnson, served with McKay in Romania. They entered the MTC on the same day, and so I'm sure they spent lots of time together. They are next to each other in the picture Sister Lundberg emailed to us the day that little army of 13 arrived in Bucharest. Brett mentioned in his letter last Monday that he went on splits with McKay during the previous transfer, and that the day he spent with McKay was the best day of his mission! He loved your son. We are sorry we won't be able to attend McKay's funeral, but we hope to be able to visit with you in the coming weeks. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with you. We are so very sorry for your loss.

Shirley and Dana: We're been praying for your family since we heard of McKay's death. We remember him as such a cute little guy when we were your neighbors so many years ago. What a blessing he has been to your family and others through the years, especially the people of Romania and now those waiting to hear the gospel. May the knowledge you have of the great eternal plan of happiness comfort you all. Hugs and prayers from Nauvoo.
