Norma Albina Borla Przytulski, age 91, passed away December 20, 2020 peacefully in Salt Lake City, UT. Norma was born June 14, 1929 in Helper, UT, daughter of Pete and Jennie Ariotti Borla. On November 27, 1953, Norma married Zigmund Przytulski in Las Vegas, NV. They had one daughter, Joanne Przytulski-Smith, in 1957.
Norma graduated from Henager Business College in 1949 and worked as a bookkeeper for most of her life. Later, she and her husband owned a convenience store, Zig's Mini Mart, in Sugarhouse, UT. Norma was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Ladies Auxiliary VFW, Stella D' America Italian Lodge in Helper, UT, and the Italian American Civic League. She loved to talk about her Italian heritage and how proud she was to be from Carbon County.
Norma enjoyed watching the NY Yankees baseball games, visiting Wendover, and spending time with her family including special moments shared with her granddaughter, Mackenzie. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne (Curt) Przytulski-Smith; granddaughter, Mackenzie Smith; sisters, Edna Romano, Flora Franck, Esther Morash; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Zigmund Przytulski; and brother, Walter Borla.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, December 29, 2020, 11:00 a.m., at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Salt Lake City, UT. Committal services will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Salt Lake City, UT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
