Dear Nielsen Family,
You were blessed with such a wonderful mom. I have such fond memories of her and your dad as all our parents parented the kids in the neighborhood. I am so sorry not to have learned of her passing until Monday night. I would have liked to have greeted you personally. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

We appreciate the wonderful children Grandma raised. It is with fond memories that we think of her. Her sincere concern for our family's well being made us feel like we were part of her family… all our love and support. ~Grant, Maridean, Marie, Cheryl, Bill, Katelyn.

Alice & family--
I was sorry to read of your mother's passing. The photo of her, in her youth, reminds me of you, when I first met you in the 5th Grade. I didn't get to know most of your siblings, but if they are like you, Alice, your mother did a wonderful job! I'm certain you will think of her everyday, and be thankful that she was your mother.
Love, LeeAnn (Mackay)

Grandma was such a beautiful person. She lived her entire life for others. Her first question to me every time I went to visit her was "Are you hungry?" And the next was "How are you doing in school?" She loved to teach and help others and she has blessed so many people with her love. Even after her strokes, she was always concerned with others' happiness. Our grief at her passing is overshadowed by our happiness that Grandma and Grandpa are finally reunited. We miss you Grandma. We love you Grandma. Thank you for your wonderful example and your love!
