Patsy Pratt Obituary

Patsy Rae Patten Pratt was born on November 19, 1931 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and passed peacefully on May 21, 2021 in her home, surrounded by family.

Patsy married David Wilson Pratt on April 23, 1948. They were later sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. They were blessed with eight children: Cynthia, Cortny, Debbie Fetzer (Robert), Jill McBride (John), Wendy Sorensen, Kim Pratt Ewing, Dave, Lance (Lauri).

Patsy and David loved playing cards with friends, bowling, traveling to some fantastic parts of the world, but more than anything loved to watch their kids and grandkids playing sports. Patsy was a dedicated fan of all sports and was more than a bit irritated when she learned that her MLB baseball package wasn't set up this season so she could watch the Rockies. Sternly she said: "Fine. I'll just watch the Jazz". When her health was failing you could ask her what you could do for her to make her feel better, and she would say "I'll feel better when the game starts".

Patsy was a strong matriarch of the Pratt family. She had a keenly sharp mind, bright eyes and an infectious smile. Her posterity of 100 includes 34 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild - and she could tell you about all of them. If ever there was a 'situation' with one of the kids, she would always say "That's OK -Everything is going to be fine".

She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and wanted hers to be a forever family. We are all so grateful for the wonderful neighbors and friends that made her life so full of joy. Special thanks to Ana, Tina and Nubia, her hospice family that lovingly cared for our Mother.

Private services were held. Please share a favorite memory of Patsy for her family at larkincares.com.

Oh Patsy, you were the sweetest friend and neighbor. So sad to loose you, but happy you are reunited with your hubby!

I´m impressed how often the family was around. Patsy and family have always been to sweet to us ( especially my little ones). We were so touched when she hand delivered valentines.
