Deborah Corbitt Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Kramer Family Funeral & Cremation Center on Jan. 21, 2026.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Deborah Anne Corbitt, age 69, of Taylorsville, Utah. She passed on January 15th, 2026 at the Intermountain Hospital in Murray, Utah. In her last days she was surrounded by her husband, children, and sister Lynn. Her last moments were private between her and her husband, Whit Corbitt.

Debbie was born in Salt Lake City, Utah to Eva and Gil Hagman. She graduated from Granger High School in 1975. After graduation she went on to work in countless Doctor and Dentist offices as the office manager.

In 1991, Debbie met Whit Corbitt. They fell in love and were married April 17th, 1997. They were inseparable since the day they met.

Debbie will be remembered as a spitfire who always spoke her mind. She loved gardening, camping, short day trips, taking Sunday rides on the motorcycle, and spoiling her grandchildren. She will be fiercely missed.

Debbie is predeceased by Eva, Gil, her brother Jeffery, and grandchildren Riley and Amber. She is survived by her husband, Whit; her children and their spouses, Jason (Sara), Damon (Lori), Tyler (Missy), and Lauren (Austin); her siblings, Richard, Lynn, John, Sue, Ed, and Cy; her grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Teagan, Emmett, Charlotte, Anastasia, Justin, Christina, Kaden, Dylan, and Dax; four great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews; and countless fur babies.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to helping those in need, in Debbie's honor. There will be a Celebration of Life held at a later (warmer) date, more info to come.

My condolences to my father in his time of loss. Debbie was his wife and soulmate. I accepted her years ago as my stepmother and respected her as a human being. She kept Dad in check, was his life partner and soulmate. I will always remember you Debbie and the joy you so obviously brought into my father's life. You will be missed.

My deepest condolences to the family. Debbie, you will be deeply missed by all of us. Thank you for welcoming me into the family all those years ago. I enjoyed all the conversations you and I had. We spent so many hours having deep conversations, laughing, and just having a great time when Greg and I visited. You never missed a phone call for birthdays or holidays. I am forever grateful that you were in my life. Rest in peace, sweet Debbie.
