Stacia Michelle Watson passed away on January 31, 2026, at the age of 36. Born on September 13, 1989, Stacia lived her life with a huge heart, fierce loyalty, and a deep love for her family and the outdoors.

Stacia was the kind of person you could always count on. She was strong, protective, and endlessly caring-known for standing up for those she loved without hesitation. Her heart was big, her loyalty unmatched, and her presence made others feel safe, supported, and truly loved.

She was adventurous and happiest outside, especially at the lake. Stacia loved fishing, camping, boating, and spending time in nature, where her free spirit could truly shine. She also loved dancing and embracing life with energy and joy.

Above all else, Stacia was a devoted and loving mother to her son, Jace Hernandez, who was her greatest pride and the center of her world.

Stacia is survived by her son, Jace Hernandez; her sisters, Janalee Sorenson, Tiffany Watson, Valarie Watson, and Falicia Orme; her father, Raymond Sorenson; her stepmother, Cindy Edgar; and her stepfather, Fred Watson.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Launa Rose Watson, with whom she is now reunited.

Stacia will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know her. Though her time here was far too short, the love she gave, the loyalty she showed, and the memories she created will live on forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held on February 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at 3671 Oldham St, West Valley City, UT 84120.

Stacia Michelle Watson will always be remembered for her adventurous spirit, her strength, and the immense love she carried for her family.
