Dear Irene, Jack and family,
We are very sorry for your loss. We consider ourselves lucky to have become acquainted with your mother. We enjoyed the times we got to visit with Prudence and will miss her sweet and considerate nature.

I will always remember sitting at the table in the flat in Glascow and watching mum sweetly flutter around the kitchen, smiling and humming and chirping to everyone. She piled on my plate a glorious concoction of traditional Scottish breakfast, poured my tea, then sat and beamed at me with the slightest giggle that radiated with the utter pleasure of making someone else happy.
Every moment I ever encountered Mum, it seemed to me she practically lived on her joyfully bouncing tip toes, always ecstatic to see a friendly face and be surrounded by loved ones and children.
Her unconditional affection certainly touched me and I'm certain there will be many feet who will wish to bounce their toes in her footsteps.

Although I knew Nana for only a short time, I got to know her well and will think about her everytime I see her daughters smile and her grandchildren laugh.

We are very sorry for all our loss.
Her obituary was perfectly worded and described her exactly as I knew her. . .
"Her gentle, loving, kind nature put others at ease and made her a joy to be around."
I always felt like I was one of her grandchildren, I will definitely miss Nana.
