Our family was blessed to be friends and neighbors for many years. One special time was when Reese and I served in the bishopric together. Joyce was then the Primary president. Their devotion to God blessed us all. The funeral service for Reese was touching and inspiring. What a great tribute from a loving family. I am a better man because I knew Reese Memmott!

I am so sad to see this great man pass to the other side. Even though he will be greeted by many. He will be missed by family and friends here. We wish all of you our most heart felt sympathy and love.

I was Reese's barber for a number of years at the University Barber Shop. How much I enjoyed our visits. He spoke of this life in Scipio, his wife, and children, the deer in his back yard, his work as a carpenter, and his cat. Oh, how he loved his cat. A wonderful friend.
