John and I have many good memories of Bro. Madsen. He has played an important role in John's life as a Scout Leader and Bishop. He was a great and gentle man. We will miss him greatly.

Dear Cousins,

I'm sorry for your loss. I know that Uncle Renn is happy to be with Aunt Helen and that they are both free from the pain that has plagued them for so many years. My mom will be unable to attend the funeral because she is in Vermont visiting Darin and his family, but I know that her thoughts and prayers are with you all as are mine. With love, Shelley
