George Olivas Obituary
George served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam. He later retired from the City of Yuma after 35 years.
George is survived by his wife Yolanda Quintero Olivas, sons George Q. Olivas Jr., Benjamin I. Olivas (Stephanie), Cipriano D. Olivas (Claudia), daughter Jennifer N. Olivas, sisters Mary S. Olivas and Josie Perez, brothers John Olivas, David Olivas, and Francisco Olivas and 11 grandchildren.
George was preceded in death by his father Ysidro Olivas Sr., mother Elvira Rodriguez Olivas, brothers Ysidro Olivas Jr., Henry Olivas and sister Susana Olivas.
Viewing will be held at Yuma Mortuary on Tuesday June 28, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. There will be no burial services due to George's request for cremation that will follow at a later date.

Please accept my deepest condolences on my uncle's passing , and to my aunt Yolanda and cousins I know my uncle will be missed very much great dad, grandfather and husband sending my prayers your way for strength and comfort. George I love you. It is still very difficult for me to process that you are gone. You were my big brother and my first experience of a father figure.
