Steven Hatch Obituary

1951 ~ 2013
Steven Graham Hatch, 62, passed away Monday September 30, 2013 after a long battle with ALS.
He was born March 27, 1951 to Dr. C. Steven and Margery Doxey Hatch in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He served a faithful mission to Paris, France, and was an active member of the LDS Church. He married Rhonda Frasier in the Salt Lake Temple in 1982 and was blessed with five children.
He attended Provo High School and Brigham Young University. Steve's fascination with type and ink led him to found Graham Maughan Publishing Company in Provo, Utah. He left printing to become an award-winning salesman for Humana, where he was well respected.
He is survived by his wife Rhonda, and his children Steven (Kelly), Kristen, Cameron, Landon, and McKell. Services will be held at the Highland South Stake Center, 9600 North 6800 West Friday morning at ll:00 am, with a viewing prior beginning at 9:30-10:45. Friends may also call Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Anderson and Sons Mortuary, 49 East 100 North American Fork.

Dear Rhonda and Family, You may not remember me but I was Stev's mission president in the France Paris Mission the last few months of his mission. He was on the mission staff upon our arrival. We were good freinds of his parents and enjoyed dinner at thier home.
I wish to express my heartfelt sympathy at the passing of your precious husband, father and grandfather. Please be assured of my love and prayers in your behalf at this tender time of parting. I am confident that your family members will take comfort in the quality of his life and in the memories you share of his abiding love for each of you. Although there is no substitute for the physical presence and love of a dear companion, I pray your knowledge of the gospel will be a source of peace and you will feel the comforting influence of the Holy Spirit. I also pray that you may be sustained at this tender time of parting and in the years ahead by the spirit which comes from Him who said, "I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you." (John 14:18) I send you my love and blessings. I, as you loved Steve dearly.

Steve was a good friend and business associate. I enjoyed the time I spent with him at Humana. I learned much from him about business, insurance, and life. There are a few people that leave an irreplaceable mark on life. Steve was definitely one of those people. He'll be missed. Best wishes to all his family. Jeff and Leslie Christiansen

Steve is a dear friend of mine. He worked with me as a financial advisor before changing to Humana. He is a great example of honesty, integrity and perseverance. We will miss him dearly. My heart and prayer go out to his family!!!
