Dear Brady, Lana, Dave and Gray babies,
When I got the news this morning from you Lana I was in total shock and disbelief. I think we only got to meet Tara a time or two but our hearts break at the sheer thought of your great loss.
Our sincere prayers go to all of you and the Tatton family. We pray for your comfort and peace.
It is so very difficult, especially when a young person leaves this existence so suddenly and we are left wondering "why?" Our Heavenly Father sees so much further than we, and we have to take His hand during times like these and trust that she is already busy on the other side and making a place for you to join her someday. You are a special family and SHE is an angel.

It has been so hard to sit down and write this. It is unreal to think you really have left this world. We love you and your sweet little family so much. We are going to miss your laugh so much. We know one day it will all make sense why you had to leave so early, but for now we are heart broken. You will be so missed. We love you and can't wait to hear everything you have got to tell us. I hope I get to do your hair in heaven, your stories are always so good during that time.

To the Tatton & Gray Families:
You do not know me and I don't know you, but I share in your grief and sorrow. My daughter was born the same year as your beloved Tara and it has been just about 4 years since she lost her eternal soul mate Adam. She was left with 2 beautiful daughters ages 4 and 2. She was also left with unanswered questions since he passed away in his sleep and there was never a cause found. As her mother it has been the hardest thing to witness, the all consuming grief of my child. This is a journey and a "club" you never imagined you would be a part of, but please know that the Savior and hour Father is aware of the tiniest and most seemingly insignificant things you will experience. HE truly will buoy you up. You will gain strength that you never knew you possessed. You will gain wisdom beyond measure and even the children will. Yes, it is hard, but know that after a time (for each it is different in length) it will become easier to deal with that pain and then not be so all consuming in intensity. It will always be a part of you and since we do not see the "eternal picture" we can't always understand. Just know you are loved and watched over and there are MANY people who truly do feel your pain and understand and they will be brought into your life when you need them most.

Sarah (Campbell) Winter

April 24, 2007

Dear Tatton and Gray families,
Only those who have known such a sudden tragedy can truly understand the sorrow you feel right now. The loss of a loved one is always difficult, but loosing someone so suddenly and young is especially painful. May you find peace and comfort in the love and concern that surrounds your families right now. My heart and thoughts go out to you during this difficult time.
With deepest sympathy,

Dear family members of Tara,
my heart is with you and your tremendous loss. I am so sorry that I just heard and was devastated for you, and wish I had been able to come show my love and support to your family at the services. This is such a difficult time, and I know first hand, the heart ache. Please know how much I love your family. The memories we shared while growing up never fade! The Tattons were my 2nd home. Lean on each other, and please know that I am hear for anyone that needs to talk. Brady doesnt know me. But I know that talking with someone who could truly understand my pain and complete agony was helpful in my healing. I am hear to be of any comfort I can. Tara's beautiful smiled stunned me as I viewed her obituary. It breaks our hearts to let go of our loved ones who leave us for such reasons we will never understand. Its my constant struggle. She is beautiful, and will continue to be as she watches over her family and is the guardian angel of her precious children. Love always. Michelle... I would really like to hear from you if you feel like calling. 548-3251.

Dave, Lana, and Brady. Oh my gosh. I just saw Tara's picture in the paper, and looked twice because she was so beautiful and young, and then realized who she was. It took my breath away. I'm just heart-sick. I am so, so sorry. There just aren't words to express how bad I feel for all of you.
Dave and Lana, you were like a second family to me. I think I spent more time at your house tending Jeff, Brady, and Rusty, than I did at my own. And I loved it. I loved those boys so much. I love all of you.
Brady, you were always the fire-cracker out of the bunch. I haven't seen you guys for years, but I have never forgotten you. I saw your pictures in the 'photo album' and you look just like your Dad. Brady, when you were born, you were so sick. There is a reason you were supposed to stay in this world. I'm sure it was to meet Tara and have two beautiful children of your own. I can't even imagine the weight that you feel right now. The overwhelming sadness. I just want you to know that everything will be ok, somehow. I can't believe that tragedy has struck you at such a young age. But I know the stuff you are made of. You are a fighter. And you have the most amazing family anyone could ever have! Lean on them. I know they will help you get through this. The best advise I was ever given was "When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on". Brady, I wish I could take this pain and sadness from you. Please know that I will keep you and your family in my prayers. If you ever need anything, I am here.
'Sometimes God calms the storm. And sometimes, He lets the storm rage, and calms His child.'
May you feel the peace of prayers sent out on your behalf, and the ministering angels sent to all of you. And the love of those that know you. God bless you. I love you guys.

I was so saddened to hear of your loss. Tara was always so full of life! She always had a big smile on her face. She also loved being a mom. I remember one of the first times I met Tara, we were expecting our first child. She told me that being a mom was the best and that she absolutely loved it - all of it. I will always remember her love for motherhood and life. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Brady, Alexa and Kade,
You have been in my prayers long before this happened and you will continue to be in my prayers. Tara was one of the first people who made me feel welcome in the ward by her outgoing personality. She had a special way of making everyone feel like they were her best friend. She was also so good to Justis when he was in the nursery. Although Tara was only working at Elite for such a short time, everyone felt like they knew her so well and they are all saddend by this. I will miss my buddy working with me until midnight. I love you guys and we will always be here if you need anything.

Dear Gray's and Tatton's,
We miss your sweet Tara greatly, as do all the neighbors & ward members here. What a privilege it has been to be her friend and home teacher. Melissa and I first met Tara at a neighborhood party and we've been continually blessed by her lovely and lively ways these past few years.
It was so nice to see the many beautiful photos of Tara last night at the viewing - what a wonderful reminder of how vivacious and happy she will be when we see her again! May the Lord bless all of you with comfort through these difficult times. Brady, you and the kids will continue to be in our thoughts and especially our prayers. Much love,

I went to school with Tara and though we were not close, I remember her being so bubbly and cute I saw her a few years ago with her children and it was very clear how much she loved them and what a good little mommy she had become. What a sad sad time for her family, and though it is of little comfort now, I hope that you find peace in knowing that you will again see her, and until then, every breath you take, every beautiful thing you see will have a little part of Tara in it. God bless you all.

It's hard to believe that a person with so much enthusiasm and love for life has left our presence. Tara truly loved Brady, Alexa and Kade and always spoke kindly of them. So very shocked and saddened to hear of your loss of Tara. We've only been neighbors for a couple years, but she was a joy to watch jumping on the trampoline with the kids. She was like a kid herself on that thing. She would sometimes take a minute for us to holler over the creek what a lovely day it was, and it was a most welcome conversation. She will inded be missed.
