I wish to express my condolences to the Wells family. I met Tara a couple of times and worked with Brett in the 1990s. At that time we were developing test programs for the F-16 and B-1B. It was fun working with Brett and our friendship continued after our careers at Hill took us on different paths.

I was so sorry to hear about the passing of Bret and Tara. I knew Bret for many years and always enjoyed seeing him at meetings and talking to him on the phone. It was always a pleasure. I never had the honor of meeting Tara, but there's no doubt she was incredible. I offer condolences to family and friends of Bret and Tara from the crew at the DRSN Test Facility.

Emily, words cannot express how very, very sorry I am for your loss. I never met your mom, but heard about you and your mom every day for many years while I worked with your dad. Bret was extremely intelligent and the most knowledgeable expert on the Red Switch network. He taught me everything I know about it, and never grew frustrated with all of my questions. We traveled a lot together, and he had a penchant for making me laugh. We visited a lot of microbreweries your dad enjoyed and ate a lot of great food. We also shared the same political beliefs--so we commiserated a lot over the election:). I pray you will find peace in knowing how loved you were by him--you made him extremely proud. God bless you.
